Meeplestock 2017 Game Con

Special Guest Daniel George

Daniel George of August Games will be flying in from parts “unknown” to join our two-day event. Daniel is a successfully funded Kick starter designer and creator of games such as Order Up! And Road Kill Rally.

Daniel has been gracious enough to offer to bring his successfully funded but not yet released game, Dragon Brew, along with him for Meeplestock patrons to try.

There are also rumors he will be bringing one or two other TBA games that are currently in the design phase for a few lucky Meeplestock participants to try out.

RPG’s & Play to Win Splendor

Galaxy Comics Games & More will be running several RPG campaigns in both Dungeons & Dragons and Shadow run. Join in on adventures such as “Treasure of the Broken Hoard”, “The Black Road”, “Uninvited Guests” and more. Splendor will also be taught as a play to win game so be sure to get a few plays in to enter the drawing!

Dr Who Role Playing will be exploring “Echos of the Past.” Why did the TARDIS materialize on this asteroid mining station? Why is the station slowly failing? And does it have anything to do with the mysterious alien artifact the crew brought on board? Join this adventure to find out!

Play to win Euphoria and Viticulture

Stonemaier Games has donated Euphoria and Viticulture as play to win games. In Euphoria you find yourself in a dystopian cityscape with a few workers at your disposal to make your mark on the world. Like most people in dystopian fiction, your workers are oblivious to their situation. This world is all they’ve ever known, and you may use them at your whim.

In Viticulture, the players find themselves in the roles of people in rustic, pre-modern Tuscany who have inherited meager vineyards. They have a few plots of land, an old crushpad, a tiny cellar, and three workers. They each have a dream of being the first to call their winery a true success. Play and enter as many times as you like!

Painting Miniatures with Lynn Schober

Do you happen to own games with lovely miniatures that beg to be painted but are just not sure where to begin? If that is the case you are in luck! Meeplestock will be hosting miniature painting workshops on June 17th conducted by Lynn Schober.

There will be 2 different classes, each costing $5.00. The first class will be on basic painting technique. Materials and a miniature will be provided. The second class covers highlighting and shading techniques, materials also provided.

Over 500 games to play

With over 500 games you are sure to find a game you want to play. Games about zombies, the Panama Canal, Formula 1 racing, farming, vikings, quilting, space, dragons, ninjas, cowboys, penguins and more!

There are lighter games for those wanting an easy to learn fast paced game or if you like a challenge, there are games that take hours and make your neurons beg for mercy. We even have a game about ant colonies and teachers for most every game… so grab your friends, pick a game and have some fun.
